Pier is built to respect your privacy. The app collects nothing and makes no network connections to do its job — reading ports, processes, and system stats all happens locally on your Mac.
Pier reads local system information (listening ports, running processes, CPU/memory/disk/network counters, and your Docker/Podman & Homebrew service status) entirely on-device. None of this leaves your Mac. There is no analytics SDK, no tracking, no account, and no personal data collection inside the app.
The single time the app contacts the network is when you activate a license. At that moment it sends your license key and a device name to our payment provider to verify the license. No other data is transmitted.
Purchases and license management are handled by our Merchant of Record, Polar. When you buy, your payment and contact details are collected and processed by them under their own privacy policy — we never see or store your full payment information. Please review their privacy policy for details.
This site is a static page. We do not use cookies or analytics on this site.
Because the app stores no personal data on our side, there is generally nothing for us to access, export, or delete. For data held by our payment provider, contact them or us and we'll help.
